How It’s Done in the Philippines

In the Philippines, first we go to 1st grade to 6th grade (elementary school). Then we go straight to being a freshman, which is first year high school. We skip 7th and 8th grade (middle school or junior high). Why is that? Well… to tell you the truth I really don’t know. So, if I’m living in the Philippines right now at this very second, I would be in high school (freshman). I think that’s pretty cool, what about you?
